While the underlying technology can be positive for crime prevention, Flock has created an interconnected, AI-powered system that tracks and documents the daily movements of individuals. This effectively creates a comprehensive, invasive "breadcrumb dossier" of a person's life. Privacy Bee CEO Harry Maugans noted that the lack of comprehensive training, oversight, and federal-level accountability contributes to privacy and security risks of Flock cameras.
