How Privacy Bee protects your data
Our job is to pull your personal information off the internet, and doing that job means holding some of it ourselves. This page explains how we secure it: the certifications we hold, the evidence behind every removal, and what independent reviewers found. Where a document exists, we link it.
Certified and audited
Privacy Bee is SOC 2 Type II certified and ISO 27001 compliant. Both are independent audits, and the Type II designation matters: auditors examined how our controls held up over months of operation, not on a single well-prepared day.
We also run a Security Operations Center in Atlanta, Georgia, staffed around the clock by Privacy Bee employees. No other service in the data-removal category operates one. Inside our Security Operations Center.
Every removal comes with a screenshot
When a data broker deletes your record, we document it. You see the evidence in your dashboard rather than a checkmark that asks you to take our word for it.
One caveat, because it is true of every removal service: removed data can come back. Brokers rebuild their lists from public records and from each other, sometimes within months. That is why every plan includes continuous monitoring. We rescan, catch the reappearance, and file the removal again.
The law is behind every request
Data brokers are legally required to honor opt-out requests under CCPA, GDPR, and a growing list of US state privacy laws. We file removals across 1,125+ data brokers and 185,253 custom sites, and we keep filing when a broker stalls. You hold these rights whether or not you use Privacy Bee; our service exists because exercising them across a thousand brokers is a full-time job. Your CCPA privacy rights.
Who does the work
Removal specialists in the United States handle your requests. We do not offshore this work. The same goes for support: live chat, email, and phone (931-PRIVACY) are staffed 24/7/365. Every plan carries a money-back guarantee.
What we collect, and what we never do
We collect the minimum needed to find and remove your exposures, and we never sell your information. Every vendor that can touch member data is published in our subprocessors list, and the privacy policy spells out what we store and why. If you want to check any claim on this page, those two documents are the place to start.
